Individual Therapy
Together we will connect from one human to another in 50 minute weekly sessions. We will explore and learn about the many different parts of you, and the life journey that has brought you to therapy. We will identify the ways you have adapted to the world around you and will explore the origins of your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. In this process, you will be able to create a life of your choosing, rather than one that was created in reaction to the pain and trauma of those around you. You will learn how to feel safe and at peace in this life, by developing coping skills and a framework of living that is built to house the highest version of yourself. My approach is direct, with compassion. I will not protect you from pain, but will help you navigate through challenging feelings so that you can heal old wounds and have the opportunity to fully experience joy.

Children & Teens
My number one priority in working with children and teens is establishing a comfortable connection. I understand that it is HARD to be a child and teen! Not only are they new to this whole life thing, but they have to trust that the people showing them the way know what they are doing! Seeing that their very livelihood depends on it, resistance can be a natural response. Resistance doesn’t necessarily always look oppositional either. It can appear by way of misaligned emotional expressions such as outbursts, shutting down, perfectionism, anger, self harm, and other behaviors that are negatively impacting their lives. Once a connection and safety is established, my goal is to offer your child/teen space to identify, learn about, process, and express their emotions in a way that fosters healthy relationships with others and the world. In doing so, I believe they then have the opportunity to be present and live life securely and fully, as their most authentic selves. When working with children application of my approach is determined by each child’s expressed interest and what would be the most impactful developmentally. Modalities include expressive art therapy, imaginative play, cognitive behavioral therapy, and play therapy.

Families & Couples
When working with family units (couples included) I use a systems based approach that examines the origins of the current system and how it presently functions. I typically meet with each participant individually before bringing the family unit together. Using a direct and practical approach, I will collaborate with the unit to identify the parts of the system that may be the root of pain, discomfort, and barriers to connection. We will develop fluid treatment goals and work toward those goals, using a process that fosters vulnerability and creates a safe space for you to strengthen your connections with one another, and yourselves as individuals.

• You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees. • Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item.
